Hanuman has been at the forefront of tourism development in Cambodia and the Mekong region since the company began life as a travel consultancy in 1990. Today it is one of the most trusted tour operators and remains, true to its origins, locally-owned and locally-operated. The senior staff at the company have two decades of experience running innovative and imaginative tours to every corner of Indochina. That’s 25 years and counting, so no-one knows Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam and Myanmar quite like Hanuman, as no other company has explored in such depth, travelling to the furthest reaches of the most remote provinces in order to bring the best of the Mekong to the world. While the senior staff at the big regional travel companies come and go, our management team are here for the long haul and that is reflected in their intimate knowledge of the region. Our team

Our team is a who’s who of travel in the Mekong region. Company Director Kulikar Sotho has more than 20 years of experience in in the region, including guiding, tour leading and arranging the impossible for film-makers and television stars such as Gordon Ramsay and Angelina Jolie. Lonely Planet author Nick Ray is the Product Director and has spent two decades exploring the region for guidebooks, travel companies and film and television productions. Add to this a talented, committed and passionate team of management and staff and you have one of the most experienced teams in Asia.
