From the hotel
Two colonial-era trading houses have been lovingly restored to house the boutique Hotel Inthira. Its street-side café and bar, which features a modern artistic interior, overlooks the historical town square with the traditional water fountain (nam phou) where there is a nightly food and handicraft bazaar.
Part of the Inthira family of hotels which includes a sister property in Champasak town, this is the most stylish place to stay in Tha Khek. Rooms offer an appealing mix of the contemporary and traditional and include extra touches like flat screen TV and terrazo bath. The restaurant and bar are a real draw, as they are under the same management as the popular Kob Chai Deu in Vientiane.
