From the hotel
Our beautiful lodge is the perfect introduction to Northern Kachin State. Perched high above the Nam Lang River with glorious views of mountains and rice terraces, Malikha Lodge has been designed by world famous architect Jean Michel Gathy of Aman Resorts fame to create a feeling of luxury and seclusion in this wilderness.
Setting the standard for remote rural accommodation in Myanmar, Malikha Lodge is a striking ecolodge set under the foothills of the Himalayas in the far north of the country. Rooms include unique teak bathtubs for a relaxing soak and a large fireplace to warm the spirits. Gastronomic cuisine is included in the rates and activities on offer in the area include minority village visits, treks, mountain biking and whitewater rafting.
